Working hard? Or hardly working?

The winter has been harsh for Boreas and even in Valta, snow covers the ground. Even the ever-flowing rapids now have a thin layer ice covering them, creating a strange sense of stillness and movement all at the same time because the water still moves underneath the wintery frame. It is breathtaking and there is so much beauty to be had around Strix but he scarcely notices it because he is on a mission.

Mismatched eyes scan the ground, searching the bushes that are dusted with the white powder for signs of the herbs he is looking for. A crunch of snow alerts the black and cloudy gray boy to the approach of someone and he lifts his head to level his gaze on Kotori. It is wonderful to see the Sumatar again and he offers the earthen-hued male a warm smile.

As Ko continues to approach, Strix cants his head to the side and asks, “You looking for me? Or did you just come to try and help me find some snowberries?” Brows lift in curiosity as his alpha reaches him, tail sweeping the air gently behind.
