Much like his brother Umeshu, once their fathers left when the companion came back Shochu was up on his paws and trailing after. Something was up, and he could only assume it had to do with one of his siblings. Though he wasn’t a violent creature by nature, there was a brotherly protectiveness that the boy held. No matter which sibling needed them, he would do his best to help.
He would arrive to find that their papa was already getting things out of his bag next to Hana. Had she gotten a booboo? He would walk around toward her front so that he could see what was going on, surprised at the amount of blood that had come from her cut. He glanced up at his papa, then over at Hana again as he laid down, trying to offer her a reassuring smile if she looked his way. “Papa will make the ouchie stop, it’ll be okay.” He told her, confident of their papa’s abilities.
