She supposed an unwarranted attack might make everyone in the pack feel like that, but however she felt wasn't really Kaija's business. Still she'd have to take the brunt of it though, and withstand whatever the girl threw at her. Wasn't like she had any intentions of backing down now, not when it felt like so much depended on this one fight.

A growl left her throat as she bared down on the flesh she'd grabbed hold of on Nova's leg. Instead of trying to rip free from her continued grasp on her paw, Kaija leaned into it all, the pain making her only feel more feral - she tried to clamp down her jaws harder and thrash her head back and forth, trying to do enough damage to make the young female tap out entirely.
