Kaija didn't tend to travel nearly as far these days as she used to. Of course, being completely stagnant wasn't her vibe, though island life was proving to be pretty damn decent - especially at the height of summer. Today she'd chosen to head a little further away from home though, unsure where her paws might carry her. Only when she came across the scent of a familiar enough wolf did she redirect her course a little bit. Siduri wasn't someone she knew well by any means, but she definitely knew of her.
That wasn't the only scent that caught her interest though. Not far off was the distinct scent of a bear. Oh, here we go again, Kaija thought glumly to herself as she drew closer. Loping across the plain, she was surprised that Siduri was already grappling with the beast. Or... something like that. It had toppled over, though looked quite pissed at the predicament it was in.
She wasn't really the type to feel inclined to help, not really, but the Raiders were growing on her and she didn't really care to drag a kid's corpse back home. That sounded like a real bummer. Hoping to catch the predator by surprise, she lunged forward, aiming for the side of the bear as she hoped to land a bite on the side of its flank. She wouldn't linger long though, trying to give her head a good hard shake before darting backwards, hoping at the very least it would distract the bear for a moment.
