For the most part Coran had settled in Valhalla's old lands and from there he went out scouting and regaining familiarity with the lands around his old home. As the season's changed, however, he began to explore more into Auster. There were a number of different prey movements though rarely did anything on four legs migrate across the Bifrost.
The sound of running water caught his attention and as he approached the dammed river he noticed the faded scent of a pack. Strange… he had no idea who it was or where they had gone but he made a mental note in case he should run into anyone here.
Coran took a drink then settled down to eat his lunch. He knew it was going to be a journey and hunting solo could be challenging. He pulled the deer leg closer to himself and began to eat before considering that he could also harvest the sinew. To get at the sinew Coran first had to open the sheath to get at the tendons. Working through the hide he used his claws to help peel back the tendon sheath and he soon snipped the forked bundle out of the legs.
