A Shiny New Era

Raxka's ears pricked up as her nose caught a foreign scent. Wolf. Female, she registered, turning to find the source. There you are. What the hell is on your face? she wondered as she spotted the stranger with the top half of a wolf's skull upon her head.

"Now, why have I not met such a powerful pretty?" asked the stranger. Raxka's brows raised. 'Powerful pretty'? What am I, a gem with muscles? It was a strange arrangement of words, to be sure. "I cannot answer that, as I don't know." She blinked. "Who are you? What do you want?" she interrogated, her ears back and eyes narrowed. Raxka had always been a cautious woman, and she wasn't about to let some random female catch her off-guard. Was she going to introduce herself? Not until the stranger did.
