Mae known he was there, she smelt him and felt him. The battle came to a end as she watched as best as she could. Soon feeling his own muzzle give a gentle nudge, Mae opened her eyes. Allowing them to lock with his own, wanting sleep she swayed her tail. She had to fight the state of drifting in to unconsciousness. His words holding her onto reality.

Soon he helped her to her paws, only to stumble over and rise back up only to once more stumble over, it wasn't going to be the way she was going to be. She wasn't weak. Using his weight to lean against. After a few tries she finally stood there. "I'm awake darling" Her voice slightly hazed from growing tired, but fighting more to stay awake.
