Your Eyes Still Haunt Me

As full darkness surrounded her again, the only thing that brought her back to life here was her breath. Feeling, hearing, almost seeing it in a shimmer through the all blackness of her dreams. Fia had always been light on sleep, somehow she functioned well given the circumstances. But ever since she was young it was only a few hours here and there, never a full's night, or day in the Mendacium hours.

As her view pulled back she could see herself for a moment, eyes searching over the nothing around her. Everything felt so vaguely familiar. A paw barely lifted from the surface below her, not even disconnecting with the hidden floor to reveal the rippling waterlike grounds under her. They felt like nothing, but it was a feeling just by looking at them. Walking on water, or more like thinned oil. She took a deep breath, finding herself back into herself, knowing she was dreaming and almost remembering the last time she was here. Here. She'd see soon if here was really here, but none the less it was another dream to wake up and bury beneath everything else. Flashbacks of the giant brute she imagined, almost like a ghost pain or feeling of him deep inside her. But she still stood without a twitch of movement. Nothing exciting for the brute to stumble in on this time. Just her and perhaps the memory.
