she came, faithful to his call as she arrived with swiftness. she seemed pleased with his ambitions-, something widow could never appreciate. medusa was right for him, not one to make him s l o w down as if his progress had overwhelmed her. he greeted medusa, refusing the urge to wag his tail although he was delighted to see the bone queen, no doubt. he wanted to kiss her, tell her how much he cared despite the battle they'd partake in today. he couldn't hold back on her just because he loved her. medusa had to be broken through, just like everything else. he consumed anything that stood in his way. and today, it had been his wife.

he caught her words and it was like they had been on the same wavelength. good. his eyes didn't move off her form even as kronos came. hearing his words, the patriarch flared his nose like a mad bull- revved up and filled to the brim with adrenaline. he slid on his horned amor and whistled for two of his bird companions to join as they station above his body in the air. medusa was a seasoned fighter and he knew better than to take her lightly, whether she dropped her own armor & companions or not. wisdom got him here, not just brute strength.

with a moment of silence, he said lowly just enough for medusa to hear, "I love you." he is face was stoic, empty of the evidence that might've matched with his last few words. but she knew very well how deeply he felt for her.. and for his family.

with nothing else to say, the dunamis took on a defensive stance before charging at medusa with surprising speed that offset like a gun. his muscles coiling and springing into action as he came towards medusa with the intent of sinking his helmet horns into her shoulder, purposively away from her vital organs.
