Takin it easy

Enyo crouched low in the tall grass, her muscles ready as she watched Flare force the Takin down the steep incline. The beast's panicked bellow echoed off the rocks, its heavy hooves sent pebbles scattering in all directions. She could hear the rapid thud of its hooves as it barreled toward her, driven by Flare’s pursuit.

Enyo sprang from her hiding place in a heartbeat, a powerful surge of muscle and force. Her paws barely touched the ground as she charged forward, closing the distance between her and the Takin in mere moments. With a fierce snarl, she launched herself upward, jaws wide as she collided with the beast’s thick neck. Her fangs sank deep into the flesh beneath its fur. The woman relished the feeling of the pulse of its life force thrum beneath her bite.

Her powerful limbs locked around the Takin's shoulders, holding fast as it struggled. The momentum nearly knocked her off balance. But Enyo held firm, digging in as her teeth clamped tighter around its throat. She could feel the beast falter, its strength failing under her unrelenting grip as it buckled to the ground beneath her weight.
