Silas felt better about himself when Bramble began to dig alongside him, he had a hunch she felt similarly to him. The feeling, the need to dig was shared by the both of them as they scooped at the earth with their paws. However careful he was, nothing could have prepared either wolf for the sudden bottoming out of the earth beneath them.

"Agh!" He uttered unintentionally as he began to fall into the ground. He struggled, trying to climb out as he was forced into the earth. Bramble was able to escape, but he was deposited painfully on the hard floor of the tunnel. He was mostly fine, minus the breath being forced from his lungs. "You can say that again," He coughed as he struggled to his paws and looked around at the sudden development.
