Someone approached, answering his call. It wasn't quite a wolf...perhaps a wolfdog? Judging by the way he looked, anyway. The canine stopped about ten feet away, offering up his name. Grimoire nodded to him, amber gaze sizing him up. "Grimoire." He stated. The stoic male subtly shifted into well practiced defenses, head lowering over his throat as he kept his eyes on the other male. No doubt the dog would begin the first move, and he was right to assume that. The wolfdog would come at him shortly after he finished preparing himself, and Grimoire would retaliate. Remaining where he was instead of moving to meet the dog head on, he waited until his opponent was just close enough before turning in toward his opponent just as Epimetheus reached his shoulder. Grimoire's hind legs coiled before the tension released, like a goat seeking a charge with his head lowered, he angled his horns enough to where he could aim a headbutt at the smaller opponent without stabbing him in the process. If only to wind him and throw him off balance. In the process, his opponents teeth would miss their mark, instead, grasping just enough of flesh and fur near the blade of his shoulder, teeth scraping against bone. Lunging then, his own jaws opened as he sought to grab the tender flesh where the leg met body, a heavy paw rising just enough in an effort to swipe at the other males side, perhaps even using it to further aid in his unbalancing of his opponent.
