Gotta Go Fast

Jynn's ankle was feeling better after her little tumble down into the caverns beneath the shimmering shore and fossil ridge. That mishap had put the brakes on her exploring of the strange phenomena happening in their world. She approached with caution here and there but she still had duties to her pack and scouting to accomplish. It was during one of these scouting missions that she came upon a woman named Starchild. After a brief conversation it was decided to have a little race through the tar pits. Well, ideally going around any tar pits, but that was part of the fun. The danger mixed with speed.

"Deal! Respect and bragging rights!" crowed Jynn. Her tail wagged back and forth as her toes flexed, her hind paws dancing with anticipation. When Star yelled out go Jynn shot off like a rocket, her large ears pinning to her head as she veered around the first pit, kicking up dirt as she went.
