With a twist of his head the icicle slammed into the side of the worm. It didn't seem to do too much. He felt the ice shatter in his mouth. it connected with the hard, icy exterior of the worm, sinking in and sticking before it broke off. Coran leapt swiftly away, but not before he heard the howl of another man cut off suddenly. Out of the corner of his eye he saw the man run through before his lifeless body fell to the ground.
"Merciful spirits…" He gasped, standing there horrified for a moment before ice from the ceiling began to fall, not only upon the worm but some pieces striking his back and snapping him back to the present.
Right... focus.... survive first, vomit later.
Eyeing the cracking ceiling and the work of the others he lined himself up. There was a good chance they were going to get crushed trying to pull this off but what choice was there really? If they fled the beast would remain to devour any that treaded through. Kicking off hard, Coran raced toward the wall where a crack had stretched from the ceiling to begin creeping down the wall. He slammed into the wall with the front of his chest, hoping to aid the others in worsening the stability of the walls and ceiling.
