Come Alive, Nothing To Hide From

The spring air had finally arrived, and it was bustling with all sorts of natures activities. Birds flew overhead singing cheerful songs, butterflies floated past his face as the breeze gently blew them up and out of sight. With a heavy sigh, he continued on. His thirst taking hold as made his way to find water, for it was time that he should pull from his depression. And yet, he didn't want to...a part of him was still in the past, but he knew sooner or later he would have to forget it and move on. But how? He had always thought he moved on from losing the one person that was close to him. His adopted sister, Ellone had vanished without a trace. And yet, he still hoped that she was alive somewhere and trying to find him. He'd pause in his march of solitude, a sound of struggles in the near distance. Curious, he moved forward. The sound having faded some time ago, though he wondered what it could have been. It had sounded like the struggle of wings, but it was rather loud and figured it must have been something big. It was not long before he came to the shore of the lake, his own den not far from the north eastern most side of it. Soon, a figure came into view. But before he could head towards it, a feather floated upon the wind to land atop his head and it went unnoticed as he made his way towards the stranger. Upon approach, he could smell Seracia on her. And it was someone he could vaguely remember from the day that Loccian had taken up the throne. This girl had spoken up about concerns during that time, and it was respected that she had voiced such thoughts. He stopped a yard or so away as he watched her tear feathers from the creature, a heron it seemed. It was an impressive catch, usually these larger birds could get away before a wolf could sneak up on one due to their tall stature, and yet here she was plucking her prized catch. "You must be proud of your catch." He commented, a light smile lifting the corner of his lips. Speech Thoughts Others |
