Sephiroth |
A near inaudible sigh swept past his lips. Sephiroth's lids were growing somewhat heavy, weariness etching themselves into his bones. He was pushing himself too hard, though he would never admit it. His thoughts were to always put others before himself, and that's what he would do. He turned around in his course, making his way back to his den on the bluff when a familiar scent caught his attention. Stopping where he stood, he slowly sniffed the air to locate the smell. Slowly he moved forward, senses attentive until he came around the other side of a large tree. Aquamarine eyes located the familiar form. "Seraphine?" What were the odds? That the very wolf he so wished to see more then ever lately happened to be nearby. He brought himself forward to stand a foot or so in front of her, remembering their last meeting on the borders of Seracia. He had been too nervous to respond to her then when she questioned him. Then again, he wasn't entirely sure what love felt like. So he had tried to keep that suppressed until he knew for sure. But how? He always felt better when she was around, and always wondered what she was thinking as well. Was she mad with him for hiding away? Did she hate him for occupying himself with his duties? He wasn't sure why the thoughts scared him. They just did. And yet, he had never felt or thought things like that before. Perhaps it was the fact that he admired her, her boldness and her bravery. She was quite a catch indeed, unafraid to speak her mind. Something he witnessed before and was unknowingly falling for. It was then, that dual toned eyes glanced briefly at her bothering leg. He could tell when one wasn't well, he had a keen eye from when he supervised training back home. He always had to look after the younger soldiers in training for signs of lameness, torn tendons, and other muscles problems. "You look like you have a lot on your mind." He murmured in a low tone, weariness escaping in his voice without meaning to. |
