"About a year." She answered. She could feel his ease as she sat before him, the air had gone from tense to calm in a matter of minutes, and now the two were both at ease. She laid on her belly , her eyes barely meeting his chin, as her tail wagged happily behind her. She yawned and scratched her ear again, this time with her front paw. Damn ticks. Damn fleas. Damn all the ugly parasites she harbored. She needed a medic desperately.
