She had been back to the trees, strengthing her limbs in self teaching to climb the trees. It was hard but after a few days spending hours at it she was getting used to it. The aches in her body were less, sore from use but not throbbing pain. She had found eggs to bring back home to her mother as a treat, gathered large leaves to wrap up herbs in her mother's stock and other times just laying there. She liked the height, the dizzying feeling of being up so high. She wanted to climb higher but feared it she fell she would break something. A howl made her freeze at the trunk of a tree where a squirrel chattered at her. That was Uncle Etern! And he was close by too. Spinning around she darted off to the blue grey male. Blue and russet pup came to a sliding halt as she found him. At a walk she scampered over, nuzzling him under the chin and leaning her side into him.Whats going on Uncle Etern? She asked happily and she settled down next to him, rolling onto her back. After she had met him, she liked him at once. She felt safe in his odd silence. She vowed silently she would get him to smile, laugh and play one day. Speech, |
