Over and over again
He had followed her closely, pausing when she did and moving forth when she did. And for the first time, she would hear a sincere emotion in his voice as called out to her. His nose would bump her own and for the briefest of moments she would allow hers to linger there before pulling back slight to answer his question. "I'm okay, just a little cut." A half hearted smile would attempt to pull at leathery lips.
He would suggest another way out, using the belly of the beast rather than returning up to the surface. She would look around them, uncertain. There were holes within the boards, but she wasn't sure they would fit through any of them, unless there were more deeper within the wood prison. Her paw would lift and simultaneously her crown would drop, tongue appear to wipe away the blood that dripped from her ankle. |
