Movement in the corner of her eyes alerted Katja to the approach of her elder sister. Though not the wolf she had hoped to find, she was pleased to see the pale healer, and acknowledged her greeting by trailing her tail along her shoulder, as affectionate a gesture as Katja ever made. Her sister's language barrier was of no matter to Katja, who was never one to waste words anyway. She'd picked up a few words in Au?ra's primary language through raids anyway, so it wasn't much of a thing to add to her vocabulary when the stolen sibling was finally returned home.

When her sister asked if she'd had luck, Katja made a disgusted sound. "Nein," she replied shortly, the slight bristling of her pelt showing her annoyance. "Alt - uhm... Gamle stien," (German: old, Norwegian: old trail)she elaborated, switching awkwardly from her own native German to Norwegian as best she could, then shrugged. "Jeg bor her (Norwegian: I live here) ... ah... inntil jeg finner fetter." (Norwegian: Until I find the cousin) Her progress in the language was slow and halting at best, and likely not very accurate, but she hoped that Au?ra got the general idea.

She turned her attention back to the land around them for a moment before asking, without looking back at her sister, "Und dir?" (german: And yourself?) She hoped her sister would stay as well - selfish of her, perhaps, but the idea of being completely isolated in this ungodly land without someone she could trust to watch her back disgusted her. It wouldn't be the first time, but that didn't mean she had to like it.

(OOC: Sorry for all the confusing language jumps, I tried to make it as understandable as I could. Does Au?ra speak any English at all? Katja doesn't speak much but even mangled English doesn't need translation at least. lol.)
