Purpose and practise had wound themselves so deep within her genetic clockwork, digging trenches further beneath porous flesh with every month of responsibility that had passed. The days of paradise were well and truly void of her youthful mind, a young vulpess with the world once ahead of her; only now she had committed herself to a lifelong liability. As the daughter of a King one could easily grow weary, drained perhaps, beneath the pull of his heavy expectations. Spirit had all but fled the golden gaze of her curious stare, standing silently and warily against the golden river stones that would beg for her to near the water?s edge. However she was far too lost within her envy, watching as the man toyed so innocently with the lapping of water that tugged eagerly at his slender limbs, crying for him to offer himself to their rolling depths. She would stand, far too silent and reserved for a babe that held such curiosity, her maw zipped tight by her reluctance to show interest where it was not truly her business. However perhaps it was his careless ecstasy that lured her forwards, taking a daring step with a dainty paw towards the stony shells of his proximity, ?Hello.? For a word so vague, her gaze blossomed with youthful wonder, inspired by his unknowing charm and utterly captivated by his prosperous character; alas, she did not smile. |
