Even as the question left her lips Novella found herself regretting it. There was a moment of silence and a part of her wished she would somehow be quick enough to get out of the clearing and away and pretend she hadn't said a thing. Of course there was no way she would be quick enough to achieve that, and though those few seconds seemed to take longer, Magnus soon cast his gaze upon her, he'd heard her and certainly knew that she was there.
"Yes, thank you, Novella is it? I am fine, just trying to adjust." She gave a small nod of her heard, confirming that Novella was indeed her name. The girl still wasn't exactly sure what to say now, the result of her question wasn't too bad of course though surely her silence now wasn't really helping. The only questions that came to mind related to the injury in some way or how he was coping with a missing limb and all seemed even more foolish questions to ask than her first.
Then out of nowhere the topic of family somehow sprung to mind, he had just become a father not too long ago, the news had spread around the pack though she of course hadn't seen the pups. Truth be told her excitement was mainly focussed upon her sisters, both of whom were currently expecting. Aurora and Magnus' pups had slipped from her mind, not that it seemed overly appropriate for her to visit when she barely knew them anyway. "How are you finding being a dad?" She questioned. Parenthood was of course far from her own mind, she was content with being an Aunt for now, though the Spring had been a rather unpleasant reminder that she could one day be a mother herself.
