Ares was a boy no longer, his body was over a year old but his mind had shot light years ahead of any physical growth. After the abrupt end to both of his parents the male had become incredibly quiet. He would avoid other wolves on purpose, and it had come to the point that the bleached brute had even distanced himself from the only love he'd ever known. He knew that Devya would have noticed his missing presence, he certainly missed hers, but after his own jaws had taken the life of his mother something within him changed drastically. He did not feel accomplished for taking his mothers life, and he felt at a loss with out his father there beside him. Devya was his only constant, and he couldn't help but to think that he was not worthy of her. Not anymore.
His tired feet would carry him into the lands of Alacritia, where exactly he would end up was still very much uncertain. He would only realize he was heading to his old home when a familiar scent would wrap itself around his muzzle as his eyes grew slightly wider. As far as he had known his sister had succumb to the ice kings reign, he found it odd that she would bring herself back to the volcano of their birth. But, he had taken a glimpse of Morphine's body being ushered towards the place. Maybe it was time for him to pay his respects as well.

Slowly he would follow the scent trail of his once kin, he smelled fresh blood and had to wonder what it was she might be up to. Once they had been inseparable, but now they could not even call the other family. He had done the unthinkable, and in return he had become outcast. One with out a family. So the loner would not so swiftly seek out the girl, for what he still did not know.
He found her, exactly where he would have Invisioned Morphine's last resting place. His quiet paws would not disturb the wraith who stood before the Queen's grave. Her bitter words would flow through his ears before he was able to make himself known. She didn't have to be dead, just as their father didn't have to suffer the fate she gave him. It was too late for thoughts such as that however, the here and now were much different than what he could have hoped.?"Destiny is a lie. Destiny is a cop out, you have to work for greatness or accept failure." He wasn't sure where the words had slipped from, but he was sure after his quiet introduction she would know he was there. And that he had heard her questioning thoughts. His body would remain calm and neutral as he watched what she would do. Half expecting a she devil to turn around and destroy him, much like he thought he deserved.?
