Newol

The female introduced herself and the name that rolled off her tongue had a very strange and tantalizing taste to it when he ran it through his head. The shortened version that she offered him was even more so do to it's simplicity. Vi. Yes, something about this female before him had an appeal to it. She was interesting. He could sense it in her too. She had a story to tell, because for every thought that she offered him, there was another that she with held. But he didn't push. He dare not push. He knew that he couldn't be the only one here with an unpleasant story to recall. And so he cared not of her origins. If she wanted, she'd offer it to him.

When she offered him a formal welcome to the land of Alacritis, he responded with a polite bow of his head in turn. But then, she started to walk and signaled from him to follow her. Now this was something that caught him a little by surprise. An attractive red she wolf leading him to some place he know not where, it caused a brief thrill to run through his body, perhaps something do to his still young mind, a few faint traces of his adolescence clinging for dear life. The thought amused him as well too, because he never wanted himself to fully grow up. And so, he rose to his paws and began to trot along side her unsure of where it was she was leading him. Where others might grow concerned, this only caused a big toothy grin to form on his face and the sneaking tendrils of exhaustion to halt their advance. He forgot at once that he'd failed to sleep last night.

Curiosity bubbled up in the brute, this female that was leading him on. He wanted to know so much about her and yet he felt so hesitant to ask. Newol didn't mind speaking about his past, but then, his had only been difficult, and not terrible. He felt that there was much the different story with Viridiana. But as they walked, she questioned him again. And so he answered her honestly with a friendly tone. "Well, I must say, the company has proven fantastic. And the land itself holds no end of surprises. Yes there are a handful of packs to be mindful of, but I do believe that I could certainly do very well for myself here." Then, raking his brain for a way to turn this into some kind of opening without stirring up anything overly painful, he eyed her and asked in a very smooth and handsome voice, as he was trying to impress. "And what of you? How do you rate your chances here?"
