Haku's ears registered Cheroke's call before his mind did. The man had been patrolling the eastern borders of the territory, walking along the marks in the not springs when he heard the ebony man's call. He had a quick glance along the borders fror anything he missed before starting towards the call. Whe Haku reached fhe clearing in which Cherokee stood, his love Aria had already arrived. She had finally recovered from her sickness that had kept her confined to their den. Haku had tended to her through the wave of illness. He gave her a quick nuzzle before looking to the somewhat distressed Cherokee. The man looked troubled, Haku curiously wondered why. Keeping silent, he nodded to the man in respct and stood beside his mate, waiting.
