Kapras?us was restless. Always eager to move, wanting so desperately to do something to make himself known to the gods. His love for them was endless, and it was for them that he lived, only to please and obey and amuse them. Tonight was no different. Though it was light outside, he knew the gods saw all, the Aesir and the Vanir, watching over him with ever-seeing eyes. Even if the world was cloaked in darkness, they would still see; the light merely made things that much more obvious.
He lazily followed the river, winding across the land like a vein, ebbing and flowing so flawlessly. The tan brute was enraptured in its perfect flow, trailing through the shallows with ease. But the gentle breeze brought something with it. The scent of a stranger. In his chest, his heart lurched at the promise of a meeting with another. If only it was his dear brother. If only! The black-furred woman would impinge on his vision, and he blinked slowly, as to ensure he was not hallucinating. A low bark echoed from his lips, tail twitching behind his slender frame as he approached. Oh, what fun! Though despite the excitement he gained upon meeting new creatures, on sharing the wisdom and joy of his gods with others who had not been so lucky to ever hear of them, he could not deny that he missed his kin dearly.
