Emer was perhaps quite the opposite of Birch in some ways then. With no plans at all in her life she was alone and balancing on the edges of chaos, at least it felt that way now with how hard she had to attempt to dodge others and keep to herself. It was a rather awful way for a wolf to live and certainly not a lifestyle that she would recommend to another. If you really had the urge to explore, then at least persuade someone else to come with you, though seeing as her urge had been more to prove her independence she wasn't sure what advice she would give to herself if she had the chance to step back in time.
"Emer, it is a nice name." She'd never really given her name all that much thought before, though she had once been asked about it's origin and received a similar compliment by a man named Valerius. He had certainly been rather pleasant to meet, and Emer had been rather less stressed then, meaning she had probably been better company for others as well. "Thank you."
"Wandering has its own type of beauty to it... don't you think? Even if you are not always with others, you have no weight to worry about, and freedom to do as you choose." Spoken in those words it was rather easy to imagine why she'd made the foolish choice to leave her family, it certainly didn't sound like that bad of a life at all. They had perhaps once been some of her thoughts, mind lingering upon the possibility of freedom and although she wasn't trapped in anyway, Emer found she didn't exactly feel free these days. Lost was the word she would use, and she no idea what she should choose to do.
Not wishing to dive into such deep and personal matters though, Emer simply smiled lightly and gave a soft nod of her head. "Lovely choice of words." She responded, for indeed they were, it was her own experiences that had put a dampener on this lifestyle, even if they hadn't really been bad at all.
