With each step that Emer took, the male before her moved closer, her pathetic attempts at escape were certainly not working. She had begun to hope perhaps he'd calm now he was steady upon his feet, though still he looked so menacing and she became doubtful that he would calm any time soon. "What are you afraid of? Didn't your father ever teach you to have a spine?" From his words she assumed it was a fight that he was after, and that was not something that Emer was up for.
What was she afraid of? Well surely that was perfectly clear? She was rather afraid that soon enough she would be dead. Words weren't forming however and even if an understandable sentence managed to take shape in her mind, she wasn't sure she'd dare speak such words and give him any ideas. The comment about her father was far less of a worry for her really, an attempt likely to bring out some form of anger within her, not that her mind was able to comprehend that just yet. She was still so consumed with fear that such simple concepts weren't really registering fully within her brain.
All to suddenly though there was a slight shift within his temperament. A sudden eerie calm seemed to overtake him, the aggression had changed though Emer wasn't convinced that this was any sort of good news. "Don't you know how dangerous it is to be all alone with a stranger when you're in heat?" Now her fear changed, she wasn't going to die, at least not yet anyway.
He certainly wasn't stopping now, continuing to move closer to her. Striding forwards rather than shuffling backwards was most definitely putting the male at an advantage. Tail tucked protectively between her legs she wasn't sure that she could dare to turn her back to him and run. His pace quickened though and she found she had no choice as he came bounding towards her. Twisting away she prayed that her movements were quick and agile enough as she turned her back to him and began to run. For now she cared little about getting lost within the crypt, all she wanted was to get away.
