It had been some time since she'd heard such a song, the call of Syn would reach her ears. She would look to her brood which slept by her breast, it was still so hard to leave them alone. She would have normally sought out her daughter Novel for babysitting duty while she had to go out to her duties. Now though, they seemed so peaceful sleeping she had to doubt they would stir. With determination to see the young fae again she would rise from the depths of her den and seek out the girl. There were few rose bushes in her territory, but it seemed that Syn would find herself in one of the few. Song would tilt her head curiously as she approached, a soft whine alerting the girl to her presence. It had been so long since she'd laid eyes upon her Apprentice, "Syn! Are you.. okay? Have you been okay? What's happened?" She knew the woman would have an obvious reason for her absence, something very important for not having stopped to tell her alpha.
