It's Dark Inside

Twig's body would gracefully move through the clear water, her ashen paws pulling her pregnant figure though it's cool liquid. As her body temperature would fall back to a more comfortable range the girl would continue her swim, enjoying the weightless feeling too much to remove herself. She hadn't felt so relieved since before her pregnancy, as she swam however she found herself to be no longer alone. A familiar form would bring itself into her field of vision as she brought herself closer to the shore. Amethyst orbs would find the mismatched gaze of Odette, the girl who had insisted upon lunching with her oh so long ago. Her voice was quite astonished though Twig didn't know why. They had first met rather close to where they were now, but maybe it was seeing her in Valhalla that caught her so off guard. She should have figured she would have found her here, she wondered if the young healer who found her some lavender might be in Valhalla too. "Well, yes it is me. I don't know how many wolves with a cross on their arm that you know." she would offer Odette a rather amused smile, since her recent talk with Themisto and Alpine it had been a bit easier to keep a smile on her face. She had a lot to look forward to in the next week, mostly seeing her newborns faces. ?
Her slender frame would bring itself closer to the shore, her bulging sides rising heavily as she pulled herself from submergence. Shaking herself lightly Twig would plop down into the water, her legs curling beneath her less than gracefully as she reclined in the crystal waters. "I think I should have figured I'd find you here." all of the wolves she had met in Valhalla were impossibly similar. They had an uncanny ability to always be smiling and finding strangers that hated receiving help. She would chuckle as she looked back to the girl's form, she wondered if she'd be willing to share another meal. Now that her body was cooling off it was able to feel hunger again. She also half wondered how Odette would react to her pregnancy, they hadn't been separate for that long but she had very much been alone when they first met.?
