As Twig shifted in the water to make herself more comfortable, she rose to all four legs. Odette was surprised at the sudden change of Twig's form. THe last time they had met, her figure had been slender and very pretty. Now, she was more swollen than a watermelon and looked as if she could be popped with a sharp stick! Of course, the yearling wouldn't do something like that to the woman, but it was a funny mental image all the same. She quickly got over her shock and proceeded to walk through the shallow level of water. Twig's words of amusement made Odette giggle softly before gently replying. "The only one I can think of is your brother, Jinxx...It has been a long time since I have seen him, though." For the Gargoyle mini-me didn't know that Jinxx had recently joined Valhalla's ranks. Odette slowly lowered herself in the shallows before rolling to a deeper portion of the lake. She felt the water swallow her form for a second or two, the refreshing result appearing on her face as she broke the surface. Odette looked more relaxed and content as she heard Twig's next statement. She couldn't help but chuckle as she shook her ears free of dripping lake water. "Restless paws will take you anywhere, so your presence is definitely a nice surprise to my numerous visits." She lightly thumped her tail beneath the water, making splashing ripples on the surface"You look very relaxed here...and since I am late, welcome to Valhalla." I speak |
