Where in the universe am I?! (Kylar)

A loud boom sounded high above, causing brown eye lids to fly open. The sea tossed the wet sack of a body and drift wood about. Carmen lifted her hurting head slowly. "Wh-what happened?" She asked out loud into the roaring winds. Rain pelted down on her. Lighting hit the sea and she was up in a minute, swaying about. Her splitting headache only worsening from the sound.
Wide turquoise eyes stared ahead. Her sides heaved, "Help!" She screamed on the top of her lungs only to hear her voice be blown away. Her determination didn't falter as she kept on shouting. She did not stop till her throat became sore and her sea sickness overcame her. Chunks spewed from her jaws and onto her 'raft'. "Just great." She complained. The waves continued to violently shove her around in the ocean...
"Ahhh!" She screamed feeling her only safety leave her as her body was flung into the air. With another great stroke of sea water she was submerged beneath the ocean. Her paws kicked against the currents as she fought for her life while they tugged at her fur. 'Stay here, stay with us' they seemed to coo into her ears. *Oh just great, now I'm hallucinating.* The darkness around her only giving away to little light above.
After what seemed like hours she finally made her way up gasping for air. She cried out another time for help. A flash of light behind her caused her to turn. Land! Every part of her seemed to scream for it. *Is it....glittering?* Assuming herself to be completely loosing it she rushed forward. "Help! Help! Help! Somebody please! I'm h-"The taste of salt entered her mouth and choked her. Coughing she felt the tiny bit of hope leaving her. No matter how much she battled, Carmen was only weakly fighting what pulled her from her chance of survival.
