His gaze never left hers even as his nails dug into the ground. Brows would lift as he spoke. She hide her surprise well, but it had not expected him to speak so boldly. As he spoke, she would come to rest on her haunches, looking rather thoughtfully at the dark man. "You speak the truth no matter how bold you are. In a few days time, I will be calling my pack together to earn their ranks. If you so to have a rank, then be there and prove yourself."
She would linger for a moment before rising again. He would show up if he so chose, for now he would call this place home. She would accept him, despite his lack of enthusiasm for seeking her out. The Queen would not take it personally, the man seemed to have his own issues that he could deal with. "Welcome to Elysium." She would turn from him, disappearing back into the shadows of her lands.
