Perhaps this Sin fellow wasn't all right in the head. Either that or he possessed the kind of intelligence that Angelus couldn't begin to understand. Maybe he was both. Regardless, the brute wasn't too pleased with how this conversation was going.
He lacked many things but ambition wasn't one of them. These many weeks of wandering had done him good and he'd learned more than a few important lessons, but now he was ready to move on. More than that, he was ready to move up. Ears flicking, Angelus carefully thought over what Sin was asking of him.
He wasn't an idiot, but there were too many angles that Sin could be coming from with those questions and he wasn't entirely sure how to take them. Though there was one thing he was certain of: he was much too willing to sacrifice others for his betterment for him to be an angel. "I'm not an angel. Are you a sin? I haven't the slightest idea what you're getting at. What do you want?" His words were colored with disdain for this cryptic stranger. He didn't like riddles, and he didn't like games, and the boy had the distinct feeling that he was being toyed with or tested for something. It didn't sit well with him.
