Her Portrait in Black.

So far, her time within these new lands had no treated her harshly and for that she knew she should be grateful. From what she had felt, this area seemed to be quite different from other places that she had traveled. Heat was beating down on her back without mercy, and if any other time someone would have asked her if she was excited for summer, she would have said yes, but now that it was here, and the heat was so bad, she couldn't wait for the winter. Moving through the new areas that she was in, Audrey hesitantly stepped forward, not liking the ground she was surrounded by. This was only confirmed when she had the pleasantry of stepping on a thorn. Growling under her breath, she sat down and lifted her paw to grasp the thorn between her teeth and pull it out quickly.
She was about to turn around, deciding that it would be better if she got out of this thorn covered area, concluding that it was a thicket, when the voice of an unknown man called out and into the thickets. Nina??? Audrey certainly had not heard that name in awhile, not since she had left her father's pack, with his blessing of course. On and on he had always rambled about her sister that had betrayed them, and while the Hervok woman completely understood her sister's choice, she couldn't help but feel slightly jealous of her. Her unseeing sister had not had the ability to leave on her own, especially not at the age that Nina had left.
Making up her mind, she curiously made her way towards the call of this man that had called out her sister's name...if it was the same Nina they were thinking about, was a mystery to her. Making sure to be much more careful than she had been before, Audrey carefully began to pick her way towards where this voice had sounded. After stepping on a few more thorns and stopping where she was in frustration, she finally decided to let this male come find her, should he so desire. So stopping where she was, she called, "Hello, sir....I heard you shout about, you'all right?" She spoke carefully, her blue, cloudy eyes narrowed slightly. Audrey wasn't sure if she would look like her sister, but she was sure curious to know if this man knew her.
