You got some explaining to do...

She would come, and she meant business. Though Sephiroth had respect for her, he was also tired of her being constantly pissed at him. She was mad at him, that much was obvious. But he wasn't going to let her push him around either, no matter how much he cared for her, he wasn't going to keep taking it. And it was those thoughts that something flashed in his eyes mere moments after she spoke. "What do you want me to explain? If you're angry at me for not standing up for Valhalla, then be angry at me. You only know what you see, and understand nothing!" He snarled, aquamarine eyes contained towards her for the first time, a hard edge. He had not wanted it to come to this, had not wanted to ever snap or be angry at her. But it was hard, when she was so determined to be that way towards him. His whole life he had grown up to obey authority, to follow your duty and do what was necessary for the greater good. He was a mercenary, not some brain muddled pup! He was not one to be pushed around, and lately his hard soldier like exterior was beginning to creep out, his emotionless case beginning to surround him once again like a cocoon. He stood, fur bristling and face contorted in a snarl as his eyes raged. Inside, he felt like a hurricane raged within his soul. He loved her, but if all she could see was his supposed failures, then it was obvious she didn't hold any affection for him. "I know what you've been through, but you need to understand as well that you're not the only one that's been through this. There's much more to life then being angry, but you have to do your part as well. I love you, Seraphine, but I've been getting the hint that you don't feel anything of the sort for me...or are you going to say I'm wrong? That I don't understand or know you at all?" He snapped, irritated and hurt at the same time. He knew why she was angry, he had been that way too until he found Valhalla. Perhaps, after this..he would return to who he once was. The monster he never wanted to become. The male kept himself squared, knowing that Seraphine's fiery temper would possibly spur her into an outburst. If she did, he would be ready for it. |
