Ooc: phone post. This is set a short time after the initial earthquake.
the rumbles that had torn through the earth had not worried N?tt. She had no reason to be bothered. She had been on flat ground. Sure, she had nearly fallen down about three gashes that had opened up in the ground, but she was reasonably unscathed. She had not encountered anyone in a while and she was bored. She had wandered rather far from Elysium, but they would not miss her. Paws struck the rough terra as she moved forwards. She stopped and glanced around the clearing. Just then a faint rumble tore through the land. Making the ground tremor. She smiled, only aftershock. They stopped after a few seconds. She continued on her path, but her eyes met a strange sight. A hole, a huge gaping tear in the earth. She changed het course, heading for the crater. The rhythmic beating of her feet on the terra stopped as she came to a halt at the edge of the crater. A steep slope led into a dark cavern. An urge to go exploring overcame her and she decided to see what was down at the the bottom. She took a few small steps down, cautious. She had only took a few steps when a slight tremor shook the earth again. More aftershock. That brief moment minus balance and lack of concentration. Before she could stop herself she was hurtling towards the ground. Gravel scratched her skin. Got in her eyes. Limbs twisting at odd angles. Eventually she came to a stop. Her right foreleg was bent at a horrible angle. She groaned. FUCK! an angry snarl left her lips as she lay there, helpless. "Speech." |
