It would be as soon as he shook his head, laughter would reach him. He felt the heat of embarrassment rise on his face. Great...he had hoped nobody had seen that...but his luck was obviously not that great. He searched around for the source of the laughter, until a voice drew his attention upwards. Deep green eyes watched the crow circling him above, ears lying flat against his skull, though not from anger but total embarrassment. "Laugh it up bird brain.." He muttered under his breath as he watched the creature land a few feet away. Eon stared at the bird, unsure whether to be annoyed or enthralled by such company. But he was still young, and he towered over the bird. Head tilted as the bird watched him, fascinated by the way the creature spoke. He had never been complimented on his coloring either, so he would find himself glancing at his paws for a moment before looking at him again. "I've never seen a crow with feathers like yours. My name is Eon, nice to meetcha Mr...B?" Was that his name? It was either that or the bird had some kind of tic. The thought amused him, causing him to grin as his tail wagged. The bird moved closer as it continued it's strange yet fascinating way of speaking, Eon's head tilting side to side like a curious pup would. This bird wanted his help in catching food, had he been unsuccessful in catching his own? Then again, the bird said he owed him. It certainly wasn't the boys fault that the crabs scuttled away, he had been ambushed by some sort of under soil dwelling creature. It wasn't his fault the crabs ran away! Then again, it might be interesting to see how this bird would do in trying to hunt crabs. "Well if you're hungry, I can help ya. It's been a while since I've eaten too, so what's on the menu?"
