Bouncing Back!

Baldur waited patiently for Odette to arrive. The woman showed incredible promise as a warrior and ever since her courageous actions against that giant water lizard he was anxious to see her skills in battle. Slightly nervous he took to breathing calm and steady. It had seemed like ages since he'd sparred anyone and his last couple of bouts had ended in draws which only furthered his anxiety. He was out of practice and he needed to get back in shape stat. Winter was around the corner and it was their one and only opportunity to rescue Hodr.

All too soon the warrioress would arrive. He smiled and shook out his coat as he walked over to her. "Morning Odette! Say, I was wondering? were you still up for a spar?" There really wasn't much more to add. Erani was insistent that the gammas practice and he could think of no more fitting an opponent.
