Vereux willingly helped the first bracelet on its way up her leg till it was resting comfortably where it was sure to not fall off on its own accord. A few moments later her brother had the second one on as well, the golden bands gleaming brightly against her silvery gray fur. Her chest swelled proudly and she looked up excitedly to Vereux's eye, her tail brushing the ground behind her. "This is when everything begins, Vereux. This is when everything changes." She stood and stepped forward she she could lean into him, nuzzling his neck affectionately. She had long accepted that from now on Vereux would be one of the very few wolves to see her like this, with her guard down and her actions soft and affectionate. To the outside world she would need to be the confident, cold, graceful Queen that their father expected her to be, but to Vereux she could relax.
