The child seemed disappointed that she did not know the answer to his question though now that he had posed it she was curious too. The girl had to laugh though as he suddenly bombarded her with new questions. She shrugged, doubtful that either Novel or Novella might know. ?Mother might know?? She muttered mostly to herself. But he was already off asking yet another question. ?It is possible but I doubt it.? Both Novel and Novella seemed like full, real names but the ones her little brother had suggested did not, though anything was possible.
A part of her regretted admitting that there were other older sister?s for the boy, how could she explain to him that his other sisters had left? that they were gone? ?Well your other sisters, Lakota and Fal?dara are? away on an adventure. They haven?t been back here in some time but we miss them dearly and hope that they will return here eventually, but also know that they might love the adventuring life too much?? Gods she hoped that was enough of an answer for the boy.

He ran the gauntlet of questions and she waited until he seemed to finish. ?An egg is a little den for baby birds while they develop, unlike wolves they aren?t born alive, instead a mommy bird will lay a clutch of eggs, build her nest which is like a den in the trees for her family,then when the baby is developed it will break out of the egg.? She paused for a moment looking at her brother. ?The baby in your egg probably wasn?t ever going to break out of its shell, see the other little birds in the nest? They needed the space and so they pushed it from the nest; which was built high up in a tree to protect it from those that might want to steal the eggs.?
