shades of cool
The beautiful creature sat upon the wet sand with her eyes shut and her mind blocked off. She was enveloped in the sounds of winds and waves. Water flew around her delicate form as her lower half got soaked. Myst breathed in the salty air with happiness, it was peaceful. No one was there to remind her of her faults. No one was there to bother her. Little Bird was beyond delicate. A hum would be heard from the girl, she began to hum a tune of her mother. One that stained within her mind. It was soft and mysterious. She began to think of her mother. The woman she was named after. Wouldn't her mother want her to move on? Be happy? Myst could not even think of moving on, it just seemed so hard. She was so close to her mother. The woman would shake the thoughts from her head and stand up. White and grey paws sunk into the wet sand as she turned around and opened her emerald eyes.
WHITE AS A GHOST
She saw him. Her dear brother. He was a light grey and white hue with dark grey markings that popped. He was of similar coloring as her, just opposite. The woman blinked a few times. How lond was he sitting there? Did he recognise her? Little Bird shook her head, trying not to worry to much. Though, her eyes met his purple orbs and she sucked in an uneasy breath. He was like a ghost. Haunting her from her past. Yet, her unstable paws carried her closer to the paranormal being. She sucked in a few more long breathes before she stopped a few feet away from him to just look for a few moments...
SHE BROKE
Little Bird let forth a quick burst of vocals, "Crucifix!" She then ran at him and embraced him. The girl attempted to stick her muzzle into his alabaster scruff. Tears threatened to fall as she breathed in his scent. It was of family, of home. The small woman backed up a step and looked into his eyes, "I am so glad you are okay, brother. I.. I have missed you so." The woman embraced him one more time, letting her chest touch his before she took one more step back to sit down before him. She was smaller and she looked fragile as an Elder. The woman looked tired and distraught. Yet, somehow, she pulled it all together. Letting her emotions bottle up as always.
