He would hurry from the den, brushing against Scorpion as he did so. The other boy would murmur a thanks and the Alpha would nod his head quickly at Scorpion. Emptying the water onto the grass before continuing on to the nearest stream. He quickly rinsed and filled the leaf, being carefully not to tear the fabric of the leaf. This done he hurried back to the cave entrance and was peering in side just as Othello became historical over something. He could see Orchid struggling to bring the situation right, to calm Othello and make her lie down once more. He covered cautiously at the entrance, uncertain if he should enter but once more Orchid seemed to spy him in the background.

He was motioned forward and did so with a few quick steps. Placing the water beside Orchid before being told what to do next. It was painfully obvious to the boy that he was on fetch and carry, yet he couldn?t bring himself to mind. This was clearly a healers situation and she had priority over the situation ? if he could help, he would. He move to the indicated hole and brought out the Moss. Lucky for him Moss and Lavender where easy things to identify and grabbing both he placed them in Orchid?s hands. Fascinated he watched as she broke of the petals of Lavender and flavoured the water with them.

He didn?t have time to take in much else before his attention was drawn by Orchid to the Stillborn. Orchid was telling him to take the little life outside and bury it. His eyes found Othello?s and his heart did a little painful cracking in his chest at the thought of what the mother must be going through knowing one of her little burdens was a stillborn. Still without a single word he moved gently to nudge Othello?s, sure that Scorpion would not deny him this little move of compassion before gently picking up the little pup in his jaws and looked quickly to Scorpion for approval at this task. If approval was given he would take the little life outside.
