She would follow after Dutiron as they heard the call of their dear grandchild. One of the few they had watch grow from birth. She'd had suspicions she would hear from him in the coming days, after hearing his familiar howl only miles away. She had to guess he had found himself. He was grown and he had stepped up and taken on the responsibility of an adult. Could he handle such stresses? Song had been put to the test as well as she and Dutiron. She would only hope that he was as ready for a pack as he thought.
Of course, he would always have his family to help him in whatever means necessary. He was their grandchild, and they would do whatever it took to keep him from failure or pain. She trusted him though, he was a good boy and had a good head on his shoulders.
Paws would carry the pair to where he would sit patiently on the border, she would wag her tail in greeting as they approached. "It's good to see you grandson." She would smile as her haunches coiled beneath her. She couldn't wait to hear what he would say.
