Anger, the one word that described how she felt. Maija Artenie was not in the best of moods, but then again, when was she ever? The happiness of her finding a home with Sibelle and making it a firm foundation for her children was hiding somewhere and she didn't care where it had gone. Instead, she let the feeling consume her like the plague and with it doing so, she had to leave the lands for a bit. Her anger would not be seen by her pack members, not when she was so new to the title.
The reason why she was so angry was one person and three words: Pandora. Selene. Artenie. The young girl was getting in trouble and playing it off like it was nothing. She was getting aggravated of hearing things regarding her daughter, but she prayed to whatever god was working her child's strings that the badness would stop. The worst was when she heard that Pandora was caught trespassing on Covari territory. Even though they had selective access to Viridiana's pack, it still unnerved her to know that Pandora thought she was slick. Where did this young girl get her ideas from? Certainly not her mother!
With a low growl, Maija had disappeared for an hour or two, just to deal with her emotions and not cause a scene. Sibelle knew that she would be out and about, only to return when she blew off steam. Her golden paws came across a plateau of various items, none of which she was familiar with. As she stood on the level ground, her eyes took in what she had ignored in the first place. Evidence of a war long ago ended was seen all around her, stretching out in front of her like the ocean when she stood on the beach. Everything was all new to her, and her leaf green eyes betrayed her emotions for once. The anger she had building up inside of her radiated in her gaze and she felt it move through her body as she angrily raced towards the nearest war piece: a helmet.
She saw her reflection in it, something she only saw when looking at the smooth surface of a stream or pond. Her ears flattened against her skull and she growled herself, teeth baring back at her and shining in the winter sun. She reached out and swiped it with her front paw, making it spin and fly into the air before landing in another random place. The power behind the effort was rewarding and before long, Maija was involved in a game of "Hit the Helmet". She approached it after each toss, making sure to step over the debris that would potentially harm her. With each hit, she felt better and the snarl was replaced with a rare grin. Every now and then, it felt good to have her walls taken down...but only rarely.
