She listened patiently for what Virgil had to say, carefully analyzing each and every word. By the end of it all, she was under the impression that there might be more to say, but it was clear that all the empress wanted to address at the present was what had been mentioned.
"That is the red woman who brought the cure to us, correct? I see no issues with considering a betrothal to her family. She seems strong and wise enough. And of course I have no objection to betrothals in general - they have been practiced by both of our families ever since the gods put our ancestors on this earth. It will simply come down to a matter of meeting the boy. I am glad that you informed me before a meeting, though." She paused, as her niece had done, before moving on.
