Signy's jaws closed around their target and Misha squalled in pain, but teeth closed on her scruff to pull and shake. Signy let go immediately this time, letting herself be pulled away and onto her hindlegs as she swung from Misha's grip. An instinctive snarl tore from the fierce pup as she tried to twist her head to her left despite the pain in her scruff where the skin and fur were pulled taut, toward the muzzle that had gripped her so painfully, and gleaming sharp ivory teeth shone as she did, attempting to slash with an eyetooth across Misha's lower left cheek. Her right forepaw came up in an attempt to shove at Misha's left shoulder as she did, trying to get more leverage as she twisted. Fur and skin tore in her scruff and Signy could drop once more, though blood leaked from the minor wound where fur had ripped away.
Once more on her own four paws Signy could drop once again into a crouch with her weight evenly distributed and balanced lightly, her joints loose and slightly bent. Her hackles were raised, her ears pinned flat and her eyes narrowed in fight-fury. Her tail lashed level with her spine, her toes flexing in the dirt for grip. She was ready once again.

This pine marten has a very foul mouth and a confusing accent. He is also fierce and hates to be called adorable. You have been warned.
