Novella's words would take an excruciating amount of time to fall from her lips, though Novel couldn't really blame her for taking so long. It was big news, wrought with many emotions and consequences. She was slightly unsure about not going to Dutiron and telling him immediately, but she knew that it had to be the duty of her daughter and her appointed mate. She hoped they'd let her celebrate a ceremony for them, it would be an easy way to let the pack know they were together. If they did it quick most wolves would not suspect they had consummated outside of a marriage and with out parental blessing. Still, even if she wouldn't allow that Novel was confident in Novella's decisions. Mostly. She would be thankful that Frith had been the good wolf she hoped he was, and had stuck by her side the whole time. Even now he would await Dutiron's judgement, but it seemed Dutiron would look to her as he usually did for her input and advice. "I'm excited for them." She'd nudge Dutiron reassuringly, two brand new mates having to begin their relationship with children on the way, seemed an apt retribution. |
