Novel would become more impressed with them as Novella and Frith would stare down her mate's rarely seen anger. She would commend their bravery, especially her daughter as she spoke up again, Novel was glad to defend them. She had to doubt that Novella would go through so much for someone who was not worth it. Frith had to have been something special for her to inflict the wrath of her parents twice. As Novella would go to list previous males who had joined the family she would notice a distinct lack of song's ex-husband's name. No one knew what happened to the male, but with such a sketchy track record it was not a stretch to say he'd run off voluntarily. Her mate would not be immune to this fact either, making sure to mention him to Novella as well. She could tell that their words would have some kind of effect, no blood would be drawn and maybe the fire lit in Dutiron's eyes would go out. Cherokee seemed the only failed relationship so far, and even then she and Dutiron had not a clue how that had started. One day finding Cherokee at their doorstep had proven that at one point he would have done anything for Song, but something had happened to the man in the last few years. "Will there be a wedding?" Novel was rather curious about this question too. Ears would perk up as Chocolate gaze fell upon her daughter expectantly. Would there be? |
