Novel held no shame in coming to her daughter's defense, she certainly had need of it there for a moment. Dutiron was only being protective though, she couldn't blame him in the least. She wouldn't either, she'd be there for him to talk to, and she would offer her opinion when he asked her for it, but he'd have to find the joy of it all himself. In time he would, but until then she would be there with him. There was hope, she'd take the little smile he offered he and would return it, kissing him slightly before Novella's words would bring her back to the present. "Yes, my loves. leave your poor old father to his rest." She'd smile playfully, ready to turn back into the den as soon as they'd gone. |
